Download your clips

Save each finished clip as a ready-to-post video, named after what the clip says so you can find it later.

What it is

Every finished clip has a Download button. It saves the video with captions and branding already in the picture, ready to post anywhere.

Each file is named after the first few words of the clip's opening line, so a folder of clips tells you what each one is. In the desktop app, clips are saved to a ReelUse folder inside your Downloads folder.

How to use it

  1. Open a finished run from your library, or switch to Clips.
  2. Press Download on the clip you want.
  3. In the desktop app, press Download on a clip. The button changes to Saved ✓.
  4. To find the file, open the clip's ··· menu and choose Show in Finder on a Mac or Show in folder on Windows.
  5. While a run is still making clips on your computer, press Save on a finished clip. Press it again to see the file.

Good to know

  • Clips download one at a time. There is no download-all.
  • Clips on a paid account, or one that has ever paid, are kept. A Free account that has never paid keeps clips for 30 days, so download the ones you want.
  • If two clips start with the same words, the clip's number is added to the name so neither file overwrites the other.

Where to find it

Library, open a run.

Plans: Every plan. Clips on the Free plan carry a small ReelUse watermark. Paid plans have none.
