What it is
Every church has words that automatic captions get wrong: a guest speaker's surname, a ministry name, the series you are six weeks into. Words we say is your list of those words. We listen out for them before the captions are written, so the mistake does not happen in the first place.
If you already know what a word keeps turning into, you can add that too, and we correct it. The list applies to every new clip. Corrections you made by hand on a single clip are left alone.
How to use it
- Open Branding and find Words we say in the Captions group.
- Type a name or term in Add a word, then press Add or Enter. One word or name at a time.
- If you know what it usually comes out as, press Fix how it is heard and fill in what the word gets turned into.
- Once your list has a few words, use Find a word to jump to one.
- Press Save words when you are done.
Good to know
- The list has its own Save words button. Changing other Branding settings does not save it.
- The list holds up to 200 words.
- Reset to defaults on the Branding page also clears this list, so keep a copy if you rely on it.
