Your brand

Overlay, one per team member

Lay your own frame over every clip, and let each person on your team pick their own.

What it is

An overlay, also called a frame, is a full-size picture laid over the whole clip: a border, a series title or a show name. It sits under the captions, so it never covers the words.

On a team, the owner keeps a shared set of frames. Each person then picks which one is theirs, and every talk they run carries it.

How to use it

  1. Open Branding and go to Overlay under Your brand.
  2. Under Your overlays, type a Name, press Add overlay and choose your PNG.
  3. Press Make default on the frame you want new clips to use.
  4. Turn on Show overlay.
  5. Team members: under Your overlays, choose a frame in Your default frame and press Save.

Good to know

  • The overlay must be a PNG exactly 1080 by 1920, up to 4 MB. You can keep up to 20.
  • Leave every area you want to see through transparent. A solid picture hides your video.
  • On a team only the owner adds, deletes and sets the default frame. A new member starts with no frame until they pick one.

Where to find it

Branding, then Your brand, then Overlay.

Plans: Growth and Pro. Choosing a frame per team member needs a Pro team.
