The Branding page shows a live vertical preview beside the settings, built from a real frame of your last talk, so you are judging your choices against your own stage and lighting rather than a stock photo.
Changes apply to your next talk. Clips you already have keep the look they were made with. To re-make an existing talk with new branding, use Run again on it, which uses your monthly talk allowance based on the recording length.
What each plan includes
| Plan | What you get |
|---|---|
| Free | Captions in the default style. Clips carry a small ReelUse watermark. |
| Starter | No watermark, and full control of caption colour, font, size, casing, style and placement. |
| Growth | Everything above plus the brand kit: logo, handle, outro, overlays, colour grade, pacing, music, custom fonts and the caption glossary. |
| Pro | Everything in Growth for 10 people including the owner, plus named Looks your team can share. |
Locked sections are not hidden or blurred: they show you what the feature does and what it costs. If you had a brand kit and moved to a smaller plan, nothing is deleted. It stops being applied, and it comes back the moment you are back on Growth.
Logo and handle
Your logo and your handle are placed and sized freely. Sliders set how far across the frame each one sits, how far down, and how large it is, and the live preview shows exactly where it will land before you run a talk. Each of them can also be switched off on its own.
The handle is a line of text, typically @yourchurch. It starts low in the frame, clear of both the captions and the platform's own buttons, and you can move and resize it from there.
Overlays
An overlay is a full-frame transparent PNG laid over the whole clip: a lower third, a border, a series title, a campus name. It sits under the captions, so it can never cover the words.
You can keep a library of them, with one marked as your default, and choose a different one per run from the Overlay chip on the library page. That exists for multi-campus churches: two campuses recording the same afternoon can each carry their own without overwriting each other's setting.
Outro
A short video joined to the end of every clip. Service times, a website, a call to respond. Keep it brief: on short-form platforms a long outro is where the retention graph falls off a cliff.
Colour grade
Five grades plus None, with an intensity slider so you can apply one at a fraction of its full strength. The default intensity is 60%, which is usually the right instinct.
| Grade | Character |
|---|---|
| Signature | Skin stays warm, shadows go slightly blue. The safest choice for most stages. |
| Gentle | The lightest touch. Leaves brightness and contrast alone and only takes the edge off strong colour. |
| Overcast | Cool and muted, with skin kept warm against it. Calms a bright, busy stage. |
| Amber | Deep golden warmth over everything. The strongest of the five, and it will change the look of the room. |
| Vivid | Clean and punchy. Greys stay neutral and the colour gets pushed. |
The page shows each grade applied to a frame of your own last talk, side by side with the original, which is far more useful than a name. Church stages vary wildly in lighting, and a grade that flatters one room will not flatter another.
Pacing
Speeds every clip up very slightly: Subtle is about 7% faster, Medium about 10%, Strong about 15%, or leave it Off. Voices keep their normal pitch, so nobody sounds hurried or chipmunked.
It tightens the natural pauses of live preaching, which is where short-form viewers drop off. Subtle is imperceptible to almost everyone. Strong is noticeable on a slow, deliberate speaker, so listen to one clip before committing.
Music
Music is your own tracks. We do not ship a stock library, deliberately: church media teams generally already have licensed music, and handing you a shared catalogue is how everyone's clips end up sounding identical.
Upload tracks and tag each with a mood (calm, reflective, uplifting, cinematic, driving). Then choose how they are used:
- Off. The default.
- Rotate across clips. Cycles your tracks so consecutive clips do not repeat.
- Auto-match by mood. Picks a track whose mood suits the kind of moment the clip is.
Music sits well under the voice and ducks automatically when anyone is speaking, lifting again in the pauses. Levels are handled for you, and you can override the track for a single clip from that clip's ··· menu.
Looks Pro
A Look is a whole clip identity saved under one name: caption style, font and colours, placement, logo, handle, outro, overlay, colour grade and music. Teams keep one per campus or one per service, so a Sunday clip and a youth night clip come out dressed differently without anyone rebuilding the settings by hand.
- Build one by copying another. Duplicate an existing Look, or take a snapshot of your account branding, then change only what is different.
- A default for each person. Every member can choose which Look their runs use, so whoever is running the talk gets the right one without asking. The owner keeps the list.
- A different Look for one talk. Anyone can pick another Look for a single talk from the Look chip on the library start box. It applies to that talk only and leaves their default alone.
- Nothing already made changes. A clip keeps the settings it was built with, and removing a Look never alters a past run.
File requirements
| Asset | Format | Maximum size | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Logo | PNG, JPG or WebP | 2 MB | Transparent PNG looks best over video. |
| Overlay | PNG only | 4 MB | Must be exactly 1080 by 1920, with transparency. |
| Outro | MP4 or MOV | 50 MB | Keep it short. |
| Caption font | TTF or OTF | 5 MB | Appears as Custom in the font list. |
| Music track | MP3, M4A or WAV | 15 MB each | Tag each with a mood. |
Reset to defaults at the bottom of the page clears the whole brand kit and puts everything back to how it started. That means your logo, handle, outro, overlays, colour grade, pacing, music and caption settings, and it also clears the words saved in Words we say. Keep a copy of that list somewhere safe if you rely on it. It asks before it acts, and it does not touch clips you have already made.
