Team seats Pro
Pro includes 10 people including the owner, all working in one shared workspace. Everyone on it shares:
- the same Library, so a clip your weekend volunteer made is there for whoever posts on Monday,
- the same Branding, so nobody has to remember the settings,
- the same monthly allowance of videos.
Billing stays with the owner. Members never see payment details and can't change the plan.
Inviting people
Go to Settings, then the Team section. Enter an address under Invite by email and press Send invite. The seat list marks each person Joined or Invited, and Remove takes either off. Under the list, a line shows how many of the 9 seats are used. The owner is the tenth person.
When someone joins, you get an email and a note at the top of your Library saying they joined your team. If they decline, the note says so and the seat is free again.
The invite can't be sent when:
- all 9 seats are taken,
- that address is already on your team, or is your own,
- that address already belongs to another ReelUse team. A person can be on one team only.
Joining a team
The invite comes by email from ReelUse, naming the team and the person who invited you. It lasts 7 days.
- Press Join and the team's name in the email. A page opens showing the team, who invited you, and what joining means.
- New to ReelUse? Choose Create an account to join. The invited address is filled in. Add your name and a password. There's no confirmation email, because the invite link already proves the address is yours, and no plan to choose.
- Already have an account? Choose Sign in to join and sign in with the invited address.
- You land in the team's Library with a note saying You've joined and the team's name. A confirmation email follows.
The invite also waits in your Library. If you already use ReelUse with the invited address, the invitation shows at the top of your Library with Accept and Decline, even if you never open the email. Declining frees the seat and changes nothing on your account.
Signed in with a different address? The page says so and offers to sign you in with the invited one.
You don't need a paid plan of your own to join a team.
The invitation turns you away if:
- it's more than 7 days old. Ask the owner for a fresh one.
- you're already on another team. Leave it first.
- you have a paid plan of your own. Cancel it, or let it run out, first, so you don't pay for a plan you won't use.
- you run your own team.
If you have a running gift when you join, it pauses with its remaining time saved, and starts again if you leave the team.

A member's own frame. On Branding, a member picks which of the owner's frames is theirs, and their videos carry it automatically. A new member has no frame until they pick one.
A member's runs count against the shared monthly allowance. If your allowance is tight in a busy season, agree who adds which videos.
Looks for your team Pro
A Look is a full set of clip choices saved under one name: captions, colors, logo, handle, outro, overlay, color grade and music. A team keeps one per show, series or brand, so nobody rebuilds the settings for their own night.
- The owner keeps the Looks and chooses which Look each person's runs use, in the Team section of Settings. Team default means the team's own Branding.
- A different Look for one video. Anyone can pick another Look for a single video from the Look chip. Their usual Look stays the same.
- Finished clips keep their Look. A clip keeps the settings it was made with, so changing a Look today leaves last month's clips as they are.
Team runs
Everyone sees the whole team's Library. Each run shows Ran by and a name, and a menu in the Ready section shows Everyone, just You, or one person's runs. Only the person who made a run, or the owner, can delete, archive or restore it. More in Runs and your library.
Leaving and removing
A member can leave from their own Settings, with Leave this team. An owner can remove anyone from the seat list. Either way, the work stays: clips made in the workspace belong to the workspace, not to the person who pressed the button.
Someone who leaves or is removed keeps their own ReelUse account and goes back to their own plan. A gift that paused when they joined starts again.
If the owner changes plan
- The owner moves below Pro: members lose access to the workspace. Their seats are kept, so moving back to Pro brings the team back as it was.
- The owner deletes their account: the team is removed. Members keep their own ReelUse accounts, on their own plan.
Buying a gift
The gift page sells ReelUse for another team or creator. You pay once, nothing renews, and the person receiving it never needs a card.
- Choose the plan, Starter or Growth.
- Choose 3, 6 or 12 months. Twelve months costs the yearly price, so two months are free.
- Enter your details. To have us deliver it for you, add their email, a short note and a delivery date. ReelUse emails them on the day you choose.
- Pay. Your code shows on screen straight away and also arrives by email.
To hand it over yourself, skip the delivery details and pass the code on however you like. The guides page has a printable gift card for that.
Redeeming one
A gift code looks like REEL-XXXX-XXXX. Use it in one of two places:
- on the sign-up form, under Have a gift code?, if you don't have an account yet,
- on the Plan & billing page, with Redeem, if you do.
When it starts depends on your plan:
- On the Free plan: it starts right away.
- Already paying: the gift waits its turn and starts on its own when your current plan ends. You're never charged twice for the same time.
A code doesn't expire before it's redeemed. Redeeming never asks for a card, and nothing renews afterward.
When a gift ends, the account moves to Free. Every clip made during it stays in your Library and can still be downloaded.
