Clips upload in the background

Clips made on your computer are yours the moment they finish, and they reach your web library in the background.

What it is

When your computer finishes a clip, it shows as done and you can save it straight away. Getting it into your web library happens quietly in the background, one clip at a time.

If you close the app before every clip has gone up, the app carries on sending them the next time you open it. A run that is still sending its clips is not shown as Stopped.

How to use it

  1. Start a talk with your computer making the clips.
  2. When a clip finishes, press Save on it. A copy goes into a ReelUse folder inside your Downloads folder.
  3. Press the button again (now Show in Finder on a Mac, Show in folder on Windows) to see the saved file.
  4. Keep the app open, or open it again later, until the clips appear in your web library.

Good to know

  • On a slow connection, sending the clips can take a while.
  • Once the clips are in your web library, anyone on your team can download them from the website.

Where to find it

ReelUse app, the clips of a running talk.

Plans: Clips made on your computer need a paid plan (Starter and up). On the Free plan our servers make the clips, so there is nothing to upload from your computer.
