What it is
The app checks for a new version shortly after it opens and every few hours after that. When one is ready, an Update available window lists what is new in it.
Press Install and restart to update now, or Later to keep working. If an update cannot finish, press Try again to start it over.
How to use it
- When Update available appears, read What's new.
- Press Install and restart. The app downloads the update and reopens.
- To check yourself, open Settings and press Check for updates under About.
- On a Mac you can also choose Check for Updates… from the ReelUse Desktop menu at the top of the screen.
Good to know
- If you press Later, the app asks again at its next check.
- If an update does not finish, the app tries again the next time you open it.
- To see what changed in every version, press See what's new under About in Settings.
