Picks up where it left off

If the app closes or your computer sleeps mid-run, it picks the talk back up when you reopen it, keeping the clips already made.

What it is

If the app closed or your computer slept partway through a talk, open the app again. It picks the run back up by itself and sends you a notification saying so.

If a run in your Library shows Stopped, press Finish it. The words and the chosen moments are saved, so only the video needs making. Clips your computer already made are sent to your library rather than made again.

How to use it

  1. Open the ReelUse app again. Interrupted runs start back up on their own.
  2. For a run marked Stopped in the Library, press Finish it.
  3. Confirm how many clips are still to make.
  4. Use the same recording as before when asked. A talk added from a YouTube link needs no file: the app fetches the video from the link again.

Good to know

  • The app checks that your recording is still on your computer. If the file you pick has a different name from the one the talk was made from, it asks before using it.
  • A run interrupted before its clips were chosen is started again from the beginning.
  • If the recording has been moved or deleted, the run cannot be finished from it. Run the talk again from the file.

Where to find it

ReelUse app, then Library.
