What it is
A service video often holds worship, announcements and a welcome around the message. Choose the section lets you drag two handles to where the talk starts and ends. Everything outside that stretch is ignored, so every clip comes from the message itself.
It also saves talks. Only the part you choose counts, so cutting a two hour video down to a 40 minute message uses one talk instead of two. If the video has chapters and one looks like the main talk, we fill the section in for you, and you can still change it.
How to use it
- Paste your link into the box at the top of your Library.
- Open the Choose the section chip under the link box.
- Drag the handles, Section starts at and Section ends at, to where the talk begins and ends.
- Check the line under the handles, which says the stretch you chose and how many talks it will use.
- Tick the rights box and press Make clips.
Good to know
- A section shorter than one minute is ignored, and the whole recording is used instead.
- The 6 hour limit counts the whole video, not just the part you chose.
- The handles need the video's length. If we cannot read it, press Check again in the preview, or run the whole video.
