Making clips

Ask for specific moments

Tell ReelUse the moment you have in mind, in your own words, and clips that match it come first in your list.

What it is

You often know the part of the talk you want, like the story about her first job or the closing challenge. The Moments note lets you describe it in plain words, and ReelUse looks for it.

Clips that match come first for that talk and are labelled Matches your request. Other strong clips still follow, so you never lose them. It is a nudge, not a filter: if the part you asked for does not hold together on its own, it will not be forced into a weak clip.

How to use it

  1. Paste your link into the box at the top of your Library.
  2. Open the Moments chip under the link box.
  3. Under Moments to prioritize, describe the part you want the way you would say it to a person.
  4. Tick the rights box and press Make clips.
  5. Look for clips labelled Matches your request at the top of the run.

Good to know

  • On Free and Starter the Moments chip shows a lock and takes you to the plans.
  • The note applies to that one talk only.
  • On a long recording, choose the section first. The note works best inside that stretch.

Where to find it

Library, the Moments chip under the link box.
