Making clips

Clip length: Short, Standard or Long

Choose Short, Standard or Long clips for each talk, so your clips fit where you plan to post them.

What it is

Some places suit a quick minute, others a longer moment. Before you start a talk, pick Short (up to 60 seconds), Standard (up to 90 seconds) or Long (up to 2 minutes).

Your choice is used for that talk and saved as your default for the next one. Standard is what every talk used before this choice existed.

How to use it

  1. Paste your link into the box at the top of your Library.
  2. Open the Length chip under the link box.
  3. Under Clip length, pick Short, Standard or Long.
  4. Tick the rights box and press Make clips.

Good to know

  • Shorter clips can mean fewer of them, because some moments need more time to land.
  • Teaching clips have their own length, so the Length chip is hidden when you choose them.
  • On Free, the Length chip shows a lock and takes you to the plans.

Where to find it

Library, the Length chip under the link box.
